<p>The Allegheny County Department of Parks is currently accepting Lifeguard applications for the Summer.</p>
<p>Lifeguards will be hired to work at the County’s three wave pools located in Boyce, South and Settler’s Cabin Park, as well as North Park Swimming Pool.</p>
<p>New Regulations require all applicants to possess current Lifeguard Training Certifications including First Aid and <span class="caps">CPR</span> for Adult and Infant Certifications, prior to the Memorial Day weekend.</p>
<p>Successful candidates will be required to work the entire swimming season (Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend), which includes flexible hours, weekends and holidays.<br />

<p>Prior to the Aquatic test, applicants must present their physical exam form completed by a family or school physician.</p>

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be honest, have an outgoing personality, be reliable & guest service oriented. Good sales technique. Some locations are one-person shops that require very independent associates willing to take responsibility & initiative. The larger shops, however, require that associates be able to adjust to working with other Team Members. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to handle money, and have basic math skills.
