Responsibilities:

Work with your peers, other Board members and Alleyoop team members to develop ideas and share feedback.
Test out new features on Alleyoop and provide feedback as needed.

Eligibility:

To be a Board member, you must be an 8th to 10th grade (at least 13 years old) student who is ready to share ideas. You’ll need to attend monthly meetings at the Alleyoop office in Copley Square. You’ll also need parent permission to participate and an email address you regularly check.

Learn to become a certified tax preparer and EARN MONEY WHILE LEARNING!

We will teach you critically important financial skills such as investing, purchasing a car, credit and debt, and saving for major financial goals.
You will learn how to prepare taxes using computer tax prep software. This is an extremely practical skill to have as you prepare to enter the working world!
Part One: Starts September 23, 2010 and ends December 18, 2010.
Part Two: You will volunteer as a tax preparer at a DotWell community tax clinic for 30 hours between January and April 2011, helping people in your community get their taxes done for free.
Classes are held once a week:
