The Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT), America’s largest battlefield preservation organization, provides students interested in history and conservation with opportunities few groups can offer. If you have a passion for the Civil War, CWPT is the place you want to be.

CWPT offers paid part-time internships on a year-round basis. Internships can vary in length from an entire semester to a few weeks in duration.

Interns will get hands on experience working on a variety of projects for a nonprofit organization. Because CWPT has a small office, interns have the benefit of taking on projects of a more crucial nature than would be seen in a larger firm.
