Our client, a Financial Services Firm in Boston, is looking to expand their team and needs a top-notch Assistant to support this growth. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at a reputable company with plenty of room to grow!!
As the Administrative Assistant you will provide office support to this rapidly expanding division. Must possess a “can do” attitude and be able to effortlessly keep things running smoothly in this busy office.
• You will offer support in detailed calendar management using Microsoft Outlook
• Periodically when scheduling meetings you will need to make arrangements for a lunch or informal dinner.
• Projects in addition to everyday responsibilities may include coordination of company sponsored events such as the holiday party, networking events and occasional board meetings.
• This position is also in charge of expense reports, all correspondence, and any additional administrative duties.
Candidates for this position must possess the following qualities and experience:
• Two or more years administrative support experience, preferably in a busy office environment. * This can be internship experience for a recent college graduate!
• An eager, helpful and positive attitude
• Willing to take on numerous projects at once, while remaining detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, especially on the phone and via e-mail
• Must be proficient in Windows and MS Office including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Responsible and professional demeanor in order to portray themselves and the organization in a positive light at all times
• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
