If you are looking to build your resume in a high-energy environment with dedicated and talented people doing meaningful work for the community – becoming an Art-Reach Intern Ambassador is a great match for you. Assigned to detailed projects and assisting with every aspect of Art-Reach’s standard operations, Interns will volunteer over a time period of at least 2 months or longer for a minimum of 8 hours per week.
Intern Ambassadors are trained to be a fully functional member of the Art-Reach team in a temporary capacity, communicating with all of Art-Reach’s constituents. These include cultural venues and human service agencies.
Intern Ambassadors must have availability during regular business hours, but may be asked to volunteer during off hours too. Functions can include assisting with duties in or out of the Art-Reach office setting. Throughout this process, the Intern Ambassador is entrusted with more responsibilities than any other volunteer track with Art-Reach and occasionally guides/trains other volunteer ambassadors through their assignments.
Responsibilities change as needed and can include but are not limited to:
- Embracing and practicing all principles of excellent service
- Assisting full time Art-Reach staff personnel
- Assisting with various programs including the Ticketing and In-Facility Program
- Participating, planning, and executing plans for special events
- Observing and reporting on workshop sessions and ticketed events
- Representing Art-Reach at intern/ volunteer fairs
- Data collection & analysis
- Training ambassadors
- Assisting with workshops
- Initial out reach and follow up phone calls with members, ambassadors, or arts partners
- Assisting in fundraising
This track requires an interview, standard training and criminal background check.
