The positions listed below will work from June 8 thru August 14.
Summer Camp Counselors (Full-time)
This is a temporary summer position with full-time hours of Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
We are seeking full-time summer camp counselors to work with youth (ages 8 to 12) and children (ages 5 to 7) during summer camp season at Cooper Fitness Center. Camp Counselors are in charge of planning and running games and activities for youth and children, ensuring the safety and supervision of the youth and children at all times, providing a fun environment. The Camp Counselor position requires a love for children, the outdoors and creativity. Counselors should have a positive attitude and lifestyle and be highly energetic and motivated. Counselors should be leaders who lead by example in their daily lifestyle. Safety is paramount. This position requires prior experience working with children, camp counselor experience is strongly preferred, ability to perform camp activities is required (i.e. swimming, tennis, soccer, games, etc.)
Swim Instructors (Seasonal)
This is a temporary summer position with full-time hours Monday – Friday.
We are seeking swim instructors for a seasonal position to work with youth (ages 8 to 12) and children (ages 5 to 7) during summer 2009 at Cooper Fitness Center. Must have some knowledge of the basic strokes of swimming (freestyle, backstroke, breatstroke, butterfly) and be able to effectively communicate with children and parents. Previous swim instructor experience preferred but not necessary.
