DESCRIPTION: Responsible for accurately running cash registers, restocking & maintaining a clean and orderly shop. Newly received merchandise must be accurately checked-in each day. Displays must be re-worked periodically during the season, so imaginative associates are needed. Team Members will also be responsible and assist in checking in inventories throughout the season. Team Members will work in a variety of specialty shops assisting guests with their gift and snack purchases, including Locker Keys where tubes, strollers and lockers are rented daily, as well as where lost and found items are logged and organized. Some shops require food service training (provided by EF/WS). A strict record of daily variance is kept. Some heavy lifting may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be honest, have an outgoing personality, be reliable & guest service oriented. Good sales technique. Some locations are one-person shops that require very independent associates willing to take responsibility & initiative. The larger shops, however, require that associates be able to adjust to working with other Team Members. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to handle money, and have basic math skills. Must be familiar with what is offered in different areas of the park, including guest services, rides, shops, games and food, in order to direct our guests. Must be well groomed, self disciplined, and willing to comply with uniform guidelines.
