We live to make gourmet burritos but you need some down time, too. Two weeks a year, but you start earning it from day one. And after three months you can take it. On your fifth year, you earn an extra week of vacation each year. Part-timers are eligible based on the hours they work.

We’re closed New Year’s, Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas. So restaurant crews get those days off.

We offer company-paid benefits for anyone working 32 hours or more per week. All you have to do is sign up when you begin the burrito life. Benefits vary slightly by region. Chipotle pays most of the cost for your medical and prescriptions. Dental, life and short-term disability are paid by Chipotle. We share the cost of coverage for dependents. There are also some options, like long-term disability and supplemental life insurance, that you can elect to pay for yourself.

A company-wide favorite (as long as you’re 21 – that’s the law). You can contribute anywhere from 1% to 15% of your salary into your 401K plan. All employees are immediately 100% vested, and the match is dollar for dollar on 3% and .50 on the next 2%.

If you need it, you are eligible for five sick days per year (prorated if you only work part of the year). After three months with us, you can use it. Part timers are eligible based on the hours they work.
