Sales Associate/Cashier

Green’s ACE Hardware has employment opportunities at our two retail hardware stores located in Marblehead and Rowley, MA where our stores sell quality hardware, paints, cleaning supplies, home goods, and related merchandise to the general public and local contractors. SALES ASSOCIATES/CASHIER – Marblehead and Rowley (full and part time)
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by offering helpful solutions to customers’ home improvement needs. This includes maintaining stock, driving sales, building sales skills and product knowledge and maintaining safety, security and integrity of store property. New associates become proficient at performing all store services such as mixing paint, taking special orders, cutting keys, glass and pipe. Associates also operate the point of sale/cash registers with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring the checkout experience is fast and friendly. Previous retail experience is a plus but we will train the right candidates with:
• high school diploma or GED;
• helpful customer service skills;
• willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends;
• strong communication, math and computer skills;
• ability to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally.
